WELLINGTON - NEW ZEALAND

Wellington is the capital of New Zealand. It is the country's second largest city, with a population of 414,000 served by an international airport and a seaport. Being the seat of government, the city's CBD has a significant office market of over 1.3 million square metres serving both government departments and ministries as well as a wide range of supporting industries in the business services sector.

Wellington has the best-educated workforce in the country, focused on the Finance and Business Services industries. It also enjoys the highest average per capita income in New Zealand.

Wellington has a well-earned reputation as New Zealand's arts and entertainment capital. Theatres, streets and parks are regularly filled with the action and colour of a series of festivals that take over the city at various times throughout the year.

In addition, there are numerous outdoor recreational facilities close to the city. Within an hour is the wildlife sanctuary of Kapiti Island, the wine village of Martinborough, and the scenic beauty of the Marlborough Sounds.
