CBRE has appointed highly experienced property professional Andrew Stringer to lead the firm’s New Zealand business.
This follows the recent announcement that current Senior Managing Director Brent McGregor will be taking on a newly created position as Executive Chairman, New Zealand to focus on further strengthening CBRE’s client relationships and Capital Markets platform.
CBRE’s Pacific President & CEO, Ray Pittman, said Mr Stringer was a natural fit for the New Zealand Senior Managing Director role given his experience, knowledge and drive.
“With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience at a senior management level, Andrew has held executive roles with leading New Zealand companies Kiwi Income Property Trust (now Kiwi Property Group) and Precinct Properties – giving him a strong client-side perspective, which will assist in driving our strategy and future growth ambitions,” Mr Pittman said.
Mr Stringer will assume the New Zealand leadership position on January 1, 2018 and will also continue in his role as Managing Director of CBRE’s Auckland office.
To assist in this respect, Campbell Stewart will be taking on an expanded role as National Director of Business Strategy and will work closely with Andrew to provide strong leadership across all CBRE’s New Zealand business lines.
Campbell will also continue in his role as National Director, Valuation & Advisory Services, to guide and foster the continued growth of CBRE’s New Zealand valuation business.
“I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to build on the outstanding business that Brent has delivered over the past seven years,” Mr Stringer said.
“I’m also looking forward to working alongside Campbell to ensure CBRE continues to deliver a superior service offering for its clients.”
