Jonathan Curtis joins CBRE as Associate Director and will be focusing on specialty retail leasing and sales, and recent University of Auckland graduate, Callum Scott, also joins the team as a Negotiator.
Jonathan will add a wealth of specialty leasing experience to the Retail Services team having worked as a senior project leasing executive for both AMP Capital Shopping Centres and Westfield for over 12 years. Jonathan has developed projects in all the major centres including The Palms Shopping Centre rebuild in Christchurch, Lambton Square, Wellington CBD, Bayfair JBHI extension Tauranga, Westfield Manukau Cinema Project, Botany Town Centre, The Lane and Fashion Pavilion. His strong fashion knowledge and skills gained from previous roles with Farmers, Levi Strauss and Hallensteins will further complement the team’s offering.

Callum will be targeting the CBD and city fringe retail space, with a focus on food/convenience and fashion retailers.
Grant Unsworth, National Director of Retail Services, said the expansion of the team allows CBRE to further grow our retail agency offering.
“We are excited to have these two high calibre recruits join CBRE. The addition of Jonathan and Callum to the Retail Services team allows us to continue our growth and to provide clients with additional resourcing. We anticipate growth in project related retail assignments and are confident that the market outlook for retail continues to improve, particularly in the Auckland and Christchurch markets.”
