Professional Experience

Prior to joining CBRE, John was an Executive Director at Ernst & Young having held both real estate and corporate finance roles.

John’s area of expertise is transaction advisory with a specific focus on the sale of land and developer procurement in the partnering space. He has provided advice to educational institutions, listed entities, land owners, developers, receivers and financiers in relation to many of New Zealand’s largest development projects.

John acts as an advisor to Panuku Development Auckland, Christchurch Central Development Unit, The Treasury, Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment and a range of private sector entities, including Fonterra, providing strategy, lead advisory and feasibility advice. John also acts on evaluation panels in the public sector procurement space.
