Alastair Pratt

Alastair works for CBRE Tauranga on a contract basis, specialising in valuations across the commercial, industrial and residential property sectors. He also completes compensation assessments where property is required for central or local government works. Valuing special purpose properties such as retirement villages, rest homes, hotels, motels, shopping centres, service stations and kiwifruit post-harvest facilities are a further aspect of his work.

Alastair also provides expert evidence to the Land Valuation Tribunal and High Court and has been an arbitrator and umpire for numerous valuation disputes.

Among his many client relationships are all NZ trading banks, major financial institutions, government departments, local authorities, state-owned enterprises and local companies, alongside a substantial number of private clients.

Alastair retired in 2017 from TelferYoung (now CBRE), where he had been a founding shareholder and director since 1987.
