Key Points:

 

  • The active development pipeline across the office, retail and industrial sectors currently comprises 53 projects.
  • The industrial market dominates, accounting for 65% of the total new pipeline NLA, equivalent to 330,000 sqm.  Office developments contribute 17% while retail developments contribute 18% of the total new pipeline NLA. 
  • Airport Corridor, East Tamaki and Drury and are the top three most active precincts for industrial development.  Office development is concentrated in the Auckland CBD; the Core and Wynyard Quarter lead activity, with Greenlane’s current pipeline ranking the third.
