Leading Quality and Risk Management for New Zealand. Primarily ensuring CBRE’s processes, procedures, and service delivery align with regulatory, client, and internal standards. She also provides ongoing support and training to valuers to mitigate risk and enhance quality.
Previously Claire was appointed as a Valuation Risk Manager for Opteon across both Australia and New Zealand. Her role involved reviewing high-value and specialised reports, providing technical advice for valuations, and managing valuation and client risk.
Claire’s valuation experience includes the preparation of valuations and consultancy advice for residential and commercial asset classes, ranging from prestige residential to greenfield and urban infill development sites, existing and proposed residential/mixed-use developments, shopping centres, trading properties specialising in childcare centres, and general commercial assets inclusive of office, retail, and industrial properties in both Western Australia and Otago.
Claire is actively involved in property industry bodies, as President of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers Council, and Member of NZIV Financial Audit and Risk Committee.
