CBRE New Zealand Teams Recognised at the RICS New Zealand Awards 2026

CBRE New Zealand is proud to announce its success at the RICS New Zealand Awards 2026, with two teams receiving industry recognition across both Valuation Team of the Year and Real Estate Agency Team of the Year.

These two accolades reflect the strength of each team’s expertise, market leadership, and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for CBRE’s clients across New Zealand.
The Valuation Team of the Year award acknowledges CBRE's expertise in delivering large-scale and nationally significant valuation assignments. The team was recognised in particular for its work with Ngāi Tahu, alongside a number of other complex portfolio mandates. Judges highlighted the team's ability to combine specialist expertise, robust governance processes and innovative use of data to provide trusted valuation advice across large and diverse property portfolios. The award reflects the confidence clients place in CBRE's valuation professionals to support critical investment, reporting and asset management decisions.

CBRE's Auckland Capital Markets team received the Agency Team of the Year award for its role in the landmark partial sale of the Ruakura Superhub to Brookfield Asset Management. One of New Zealand's most significant real estate transactions, the deal attracted offshore institutional capital to a complex investment opportunity while supporting the long-term growth of the iwi-owned development. The judges recognised the team's ability to navigate a challenging capital environment and deliver an exceptional outcome for the client.


This win also marks a significant milestone for CBRE's Agency business, representing its third consecutive Agency Team of the Year title and fifth win in the past six years. This achievement reflects the consistency, expertise and market leadership that continue to set the team apart in the New Zealand market.
