CBRE wins the prestigious RICS Real Estate Agency of the Year Award

CBRE New Zealand’s Industrial & Logistics team secured the win after achieving outstanding outcomes on several significant projects:

• Ruakura Superhub: Played a key role in the project team that transformed the 490-hectare Ruakura Superhub into a key North Island logistics location.
  Helping facilitate major tenant relocations on behalf of Tainui Group Holdings, including Kmart’s first New Zealand distribution centre and Maersk’s state-of-the-art cold store facility.
• Fisher & Paykel Healthcare: Secured a 104-hectare site in Drury for Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, marking a record $275 million transaction.
  This acquisition will enable the creation of a new campus, shaping the next 30+ years of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s operations.
• Sale of the GPC Building in Wiri: Managed the sale of GPC’s 33,468sqm warehouse and office distribution facility, the largest industrial transaction in 2023, exceeding $100 million. The global marketing campaign attracted eight serious bids, demonstrating CBRE’s ability to secure international interest and achieve market-leading outcomes.
